Are all agents alike? There are many reasons to hire an agent with experience. You put a lot of money, time, and energy into buying or selling a house. Why not use an agent who might help you get more money, save you time, and keep you out of court? Today I worked with an agent that I could tell has very little experience. She brought me an offer that my seller client accepted. The buyer's agent did not pay attention to the timelines in the sales contract & let a very important deadline pass. It could cost the buyer over $3,000 or the right to ask for repairs. I hate to admit it but I see mistakes like this too often.
